They customised a tour to meet my requirements. When we arrived they gave us a complete package of information and everything was perfectly arranged. When I first made an enquiry I told them we wanted to photograph waterfalls and they had marked the map of our route with all the waterfalls.
I really recommend them very highly. Helga planned every detail, including making reservations at the most unique lodgings anywhere, arranging our rental car, providing a map with the route and handwritten notations of stops to make along the way. Nordic Visitor also provided a spiral bound notebook with suggested sights to see each day, including optional excursions.
Nordic Visitor provided us with a cell phone (which we used to call Nordic Visitor with questions during our trip), a gas discount card and an anniversary gift as well. If you love the outdoors and exploring, Iceland cannot be beat. And don't forget to call Helga at Nordic Visitor. They will work closely with you to make sure your trip is as memorable as ours.
From our pick up at the airport to renting a car, booking hotel rooms and suggesting sites that are not in the guide books, all transitions were seamless. We had an itinerary that we could use as is or go 'off script' and still experience what Iceland had to offer. We highly recommend them. The hotels were excellent. The meals at the hotels were also great.
A nice package giving us good hotel values and locations as well as Nordic Visitor's expertise on the best things to see. This was my second tour with Nordic Visitor. In 2014 I booked a tour of Iceland through Nordic Visitor, and that was also a very positive experience. I will definitely use Nordic Visitor again in all my future travels to Scandinavia. I enjoyed every place I stayed. Was made to feel welcome and staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions. Everyone had stories to tell about their specific area which I found most enjoyable.
I have travelled to many different parts of the world and Iceland is my new favorite destination largely due to the wonderful experience provided by Nordic Visitor and travel consultant Gudrun in particular. Although I visited in an unusually cold and snowy May the beauty of Iceland and the warmth of the people will be in my heart forever. Thank you everyone for a glimpse into the life of an Icelander.
I look forward to my next visit. The facilities were just great. We were impressed with all accommodations and how smooth everything was. The breakfasts were fabulous.

Glacier walk so great too. We had the best time on our trip thanks to how seamless Nordic visitor made the whole experience from the moment we landed to checking out of the hotel on our last nights stay. Typically you only hear when things were bad or negative.
I am here to say this was so positive and seamless every step of the way. The driver who picked us up was great, kind and helpful. Each accommodation we stayed at had fabulous customer service and a welcoming staff not to mention awesome food. Thanks to Larus and the team at Nordic Visitor for all they did to make this trip an experience of a lifetime. You guys made my trip seamless, easy and perfect. How would this affect global supply and oil prices. How would OPEC react to the U. Next PostOilfield Services To See Spending Surge In 2017 Tsvetana is a writer for the U. How many would be needed to be added back to increase production commensurate with OPEC cuts.
How much capex would it take reactivate over 1000 rigs. Can the shale producers really increase production to an extent to obviate the OPEC cut when LESS capex is being spent. How long will it take to gets those new rigs up and running and producing.
Phil Currie on December 23 2016 said: Craig Ferrell is correct. One more thing to add to his comments.
Where will all the people come from to run these rigs to bring back this oil production. Many have left the industry, some will flock back, but not all. I do not see the rig count in the US going over 1000 for a very long time, if ever again. The pundit class never seems to be interested in talking about how accurate they have been, and that's not aimed at you personally Ms.
Craig Ferrell on December 23 2016 said: Thanks Phil. Couldn't fit in previous comment field the aspect of financing. Banks review borrowing base twice a year, and cut back last fall based on lower prices. By the time they re-evaluate in spring with higher bases and presumably more ability to spend on capex, the 1st round of OPEC cuts will already be in the books.
It will take a bit longer than assumed, and thus higher oil prices. James kaiser on December 23 2016 said: I agree with Craig and Phil. The big thing Oil Shale requires is CAPEX. You have to spend big money to make big money. They either have to make the money or borrow it. They can't produce enough to drill, and banks aren't going to lend them money OR they're already extended their credit to the limit.
Also, companies are inherently conservative. The industry might be short sited at times, but it's still runs to make a profit, and until there's enough revenue and cash flow coming back OUT of oil shales, banks and company executives will hesitate to or won't be able to spend like it's 2014. As in the past the abusers will go all the way. Alex on December 29 2016 said: I would not rely too much on rig count considering new technology of horizontal drilling. The accommodation all over Iceland was really excellent and some would be highlights or favorites we'll remember a long time Honestly felt nothing was left out and the trip couldn't have gone any better and all 6 of us that were on this are in full agreement on that.
I cant' even express how easy it was to work with your company and how everything was thought out and delivered to us. Even if we didn't know we were going to need it. We thought that Sofia's organisational skills were excellent. She was professional, friendly and organised some excellent hotels - in terms of location and helpfulness of staff.
This was a fantastic holiday. A real adventure that we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for making this possible. The hotels were great, especially the one in Copenhagen and Flam. Everything was so well organized an thought through I. We had enough time in each of the places we visited as well. The night in Flam was perfect timing to slow down the trip and relax a little.
Excellent experience, timely communication. Very easy and low maintenance which is exactly what I want when booking with an agency. We had an amazing experience. Everything went smoothly, we loved the hotels Helga chose for us, and the information we received before the tour was very helpful. I cannot wait to travel with Nordic Visitor again.
We have already recommended Nordic Visitor to my parents, and they are planning to book a tour within the next couple months. This is the second trip we have booked with Nordic Visitor and it was a very pleasant experience (we traveled to Norway in 2013). We will certaily trust our future adventures to the experienced staff at Nordic Visitor. Every detail was taken care of before we arrived in Iceland, all we had to do was enjoy ourselves.
We booked a similar styled tour of Scotland through a different company in 2014, and there really is no comparison. Nordic Visitor does an exemplary job of taking care of their clients. Booking through Nordic Visitor is truly the best way to explore Nordic countries. Brian provided us daily bonus stops in addition to the planned itinerary.
I loved that we didn't hit all the usual crowded tourists stops. We enjoyed our Iceland tour very much. The scenery is stunningly beautiful and the people so friendly. Nordic Visitor did a great job putting the tour together. It was so awesome we want to book another trip soon.
We can't thank you enough!. The accommodations were all very clean and the beds in all of them were very comfortable. Hotel staff were always helpful. The range of accommodation from former boarding schools to new hotels was interesting in itself and the variety added to the tour. The meals provided were excellent and high quality.
